We are looking for an Unauthorized Trading Controller - Junior Level

We are looking for a detail-oriented professional to join a global financial markets environment, focusing on the control and monitoring of Sales and Trading activities. This role sits within a first line of defence control framework, ensuring that trading operations are conducted in line with internal policies, regulatory expectations, and risk standards.

You will act as a key control point, identifying unusual transactions, mitigating operational and fraud risks, and contributing to a robust conduct and control culture across the business.


Main Tasks:

  • Perform second-level controls over Sales and Trading activities
  • Monitor and analyze financial transactions to detect potential breaches or unauthorized trading
  • Maintain and update referential data related to books, portfolios, and trader/sales mandates
  • Investigate anomalies and propose corrective or preventive actions
  • Contribute to the strengthening of the operational risk and control framework
  • Coordinate monthly statistical reporting and KPI tracking
  • Ensure the relevance, accuracy, and reliability of control indicators
  • Produce clear analysis, synthesis, and reporting tailored to management needs
  • Liaise with Compliance, Legal, Risk, Conduct, and other support functions
  • Handle ad-hoc requests from Management and Business stakeholders
  • Prepare and present findings in meetings with different levels of seniority


Main Skills:

  • Academic background in Economics, Finance, Accounting or similar (Bachelor's degree)
  • 0-2 years of experience in Banking, Financial Operations, or Markets environment
  • Solid understanding of Financial Markets and Trading activities
  • Knowledge of Middle Office operations and control processes
  • Strong attention to detail and critical analytical mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (fluent)
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and work as a team player
  • Results-driven with strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Capacity to adapt and improve processes when needed
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluent English (mandatory)
