Your key responsibilities- Designing and building scalable data pipelines using Databricks and cloud-native tools
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver tailored solutions
- Transforming raw data into clean, structured formats ready for analysis and reporting
- Implementing best practices in data governance, quality, and security
- Troubleshooting and optimising data workflows for performance and reliability
- Supporting clients through their data transformation journeys with a consultative mindset
- A third level qualification in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related discipline, or relevant experience related to the position
- Proven experience working in a client-facing consulting environment, with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations, navigate complex requirements, and deliver tailored solutions across diverse industries.
- 5+ years' experience working with Databricks, including Spark and Delta Lake
- Strong skills in Python and/or Scala for data engineering tasks
- Comfortable working with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud
- A problem-solving mindset and the ability to simplify complex data challenges
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Knowledge of data warehousing and modern data architecture patterns
- Professional certification in Databricks
