About the TeamThe Coroprate Affairs team proactively engages with key external stakeholders-such as financial institutions, government bodies, and business representative organisations-to build partnerships, raise UKEF's profile, and generate leads. The team maps, delivers, and tracks stakeholder interactions to build a strong network of UKEF advocates.
About the RoleThis is a dynamic opportunity to join the team on a short-term basis as a Stakeholder Engagement Officer. In this role, you will support the handling of relationships with a diverse range of UKEF stakeholders, cultivate collaborative partnerships, and ensure clear communication of UKEF's objectives, policies, and successes.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary point of contact for managing the EA mailbox, efficiently triaging both external and internal requests (e.g. briefings) and maintaining an organised filing system to ensure timely and effective communication.
- Support relationship managers with key accounts by overseeing logistics, including scheduling meetings and assisting in the development of high-quality PowerPoint presentations.
- Lead on the tracking process for stakeholder engagement activities by maintaining tracking documents and ensuring accurate updates to the CRM system.
- Assist in the preparation of briefings for senior leadership, including CEO meetings, by conducting thorough research on key stakeholders, providing background information, recent publications, and policy positions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure UKEF's policies, initiatives, and programs are communicated clearly and effectively to external stakeholders.
- Previous experience in stakeholder engagement or customer-facing roles is preferable, demonstrating the interpersonal skills to develop and manage relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- A high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy and maintain the quality and integrity of external communications. This includes the ability to manage information and track engagement activities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook, with the ability to create engaging presentations, manage communications, and support logistical elements for webinars, teach-ins.
- Strong organisational skills for managing multiple tasks, prioritising requests, and maintaining UKEF's corporate memory through well-structured records and documentation.
- The ability to understand, analyse, and summarise information to support briefing activities for senior colleagues.
- A proactive attitude and working closely with internal teams are vital to ensure that UKEF's goals are effectively communicated.
