The client is a leading global telecommunications and technology provider with operations across multiple regions and a large customer base. They offer services such as mobile connectivity, broadband, cloud, data center, cybersecurity, IoT, and enterprise solutions to support businesses worldwide.
Job Description- Drive global business development and sales for telecom and technology solutions.
- Hunt for new prospects and manage penetration strategies in emerging markets.
- Sell and co-create solutions across core and non-core products (Data, Satellite, Cybersecurity, Data Center, Cloud).
- Build strategic relationships with CXOs and senior decision-makers.
- Achieve sales and revenue targets through effective account management and retention.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure service delivery and business growth.
- Promote solution selling and drive new product adoption.
A successful UK Account Director should have:
- A results-driven approach with a focus on achieving sales targets.Holds an MBA or equivalent (preferably B.Tech + MBA).
- Has 8-15 years of B2B sales experience in the telecom or technology domain.
- Demonstrates strategic business planning and knowledge of ICT projects and funding.
- Skilled in consultative selling, key account management, and solution selling.
- Possesses strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and executive presence for CXO-level engagement.
- Deep understanding of enterprise/carrier products (IPLC, VSAT, security, platforms, data center).
- Highly customer-oriented, with ability to manage relationships and drive revenue growth.
- Capable of coordinating cross-functional teams and external partners to achieve business targets.
- Creative thinker with ability to devise innovative ideas for attracting target customers.
- Competitive salary between £81,000 and £99,000 per annum.
