Our client is a leading IT and digital solutions provider, specialising in supply chain innovation for the Life Sciences sector.
Role Overview
We are looking for a UI/UX Designer/Developer who can help take our client's user experience to the next level as their platforms scale. You'll combine strong UX research skills with UI design and development capabilities, creating intuitive, visually compelling, and highly functional interfaces for complex pharma and logistics workflows.
This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for user research, prototyping, design systems, and ensuring consistency across applications while aligning with industry-specific UI patterns.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead UX research activities to understand user needs, workflows, and pain points in pharma and logistics environments.
- Translate findings into prototypes, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Build and maintain scalable design systems to ensure consistency across applications.
- Develop and refine UI elements, interactions, and layouts using modern Front End technologies.
- Optimise interfaces for usability, accessibility, and performance as platform usage grows.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to iterate on designs.
- Leverage pharma/logistics UI patterns to improve adoption and efficiency.
- Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to inform continuous improvement.
Key Requirements
- 5+ years' experience in UI/UX design and Front End development.
- Proven track record of designing enterprise-scale platforms, ideally in Life Sciences or logistics.
- Strong skills in UX research methodologies and usability testing.
- Proficiency in prototyping tools (eg, Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch).
- Solid Front End development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript; React or Angular preferred).
- Experience creating and maintaining design systems.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
- Strong communication skills with ability to present and defend design decisions.
- Experience with data-rich dashboards and complex workflow design.
- Familiarity with SAP or other supply chain applications.
- English required, second European language highly desirable.
