Offer DescriptionApplications are invited for a temporary post of a UCD Post-doctoral Research Fellow Level 1 within School of Agriculture and Food Science.
Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Researcher to join the Harm2Healing project, funded by Research Ireland under the COALESCE Strand 2A. The objective of the Harm2Healing Project is to help transform survivor-centred gender-based violence (GBV) response in humanitarian settings by leveraging a human-centred AI approach.
In environments where service demand far outstrips supply, caseworkers face chronic resource shortages and complex referral pathways. This initiative will develop a reliable, scalable, and agent-based simulation model that will support caseworkers in developing their care-plans for survivors. By analysing data and simulating constraints, the tool will provide a comprehensive board of options to optimize the choice architecture for survivors, fostering their agency and informed decision-making.
Post Doc 1 Salary: €47,237 per annum
Appointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
The PD1 position is intended for early stage researchers, either just after completion of a PhD or for someone entering a new area for the first time. If you have already completed your PD1 stage in UCD or will soon complete a PD1, or you are an external applicant whose total Postdoctoral experience, inclusive of the duration of the advertised post, would exceed 4 years, you should not apply and should refer to PD2 posts instead.
