UC Engineer - 6 months - Outside IR35 - Glasgow

My client is seeking a UC Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in a major programme of work. This is an initial 6-month contract opportunity where you will act as the Cisco Telephony specialist, providing both technical leadership and hands-on expertise throughout the design and implementation phases.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the technical lead for the Cisco Telephony workstream within the wider programme
• Design, configure, and implement Cisco voice solutions, including CUBEs and CUCM
• Troubleshoot complex dial plans and voice routing issues
• Provide expertise in SIP protocol analysis and resolution of VoIP-related issues
• Support integration of Direct Routing for Microsoft Teams
• Maintain and support analogue technologies including gateways, MDF, Krone blocks, and associated wiring
• Collaborate with infrastructure, network, and project teams to ensure smooth telephony delivery

Experience:

• Configuring and troubleshooting Cisco CUBE
• Designing and managing complex dial plans
• Deep understanding of SIP and VoIP troubleshooting
• Implementing and supporting Direct Routing for Microsoft Teams
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco CUCM

Contract Details:

• Duration: 6 months (View for Extension)
• Day Rate: £400 Per Day - £450 Per Day
• Determination: Outside IR35
• Location: Glasgow/WFH
