ABOUT THE ROLE

Job Purpose: Our Tyre Technicians play an integral role in keeping our customers moving. We seek enthusiastic, determined individuals with a hunger to learn to join our team of Tyre Technicians. Reporting directly to the Regional Operations Supervisor, the Tyre Technician is responsible for regularly inspecting our customer fleets and identifying, prioritising and rectifying issues in a timely manner. You will cover Basingstoke and surrounding areas.

Working hours are 37.5 hours per week (permanent). Technicians may choose their hours to suit them and the customer. All locations you will cover have a commercial tyre fitting machine.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key responsibilities include:

  • Inspecting customer fleets and identifying issues
  • Prioritising and rectifying tyre issues timely
  • Maintaining commercial tyre fitting machine
  • Using IT equipment (laptop, tablet, mobile) effectively
  • Prioritising daily workload and meeting tight timescales and targets
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Full UK driving authorisation
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Can do attitude with passion to learn
  • Previous commercial tyre fitting experience (preferred but not essential)
  • Experience working to tight timescales and targets
  • Ability to prioritise daily workload
  • Proficiency with IT equipment
