Working hours: 15 hours per week (3:00pm-6:00pm Monday Friday)
Weeks per year: School term time and Trust Training Days, excluding INSET days
Grade: 4
Salary range: Support staff salary points 4 5 per annum, with a pay award pending.
Our Childcare Workers provide high quality childcare for the children of Twynham Primary School within the breakfast club. We aim to balance fun activities with productive/educational tasks, leading games such as parachutes while helping children with homework. We provide an after school club valued and trusted by the community of parents/carers.
Responsibilities- Provide a safe, secure, and stimulating learning environment.
- Be a member of a team providing high quality childcare, adapting activities for individual children and groups.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of activities and a curriculum that meets agreed objectives and targets, encouraging engagement in productive activities.
- Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people in accordance with our Safeguarding and Child Protection policies.

- hold a Level 2 Childcare qualification, or have equivalent experience in a childcare setting.
