Two LAVI facilitators / two social assistants at 80% on a fixed-term contract

PROFA, recognized as a public utility, is looking for two LAVI practitioners / two social worker assistants at 80% in a fixed-term contract. PROFA, recognized as a public utility by Vaud, offers communication spaces in the area of intimacy throughout the territory of the LAVI Center and provides listening, support, and assistance to victims of offenses in legal and psychological areas as well as procedural steps to strengthen the service. We wish to hire for the LAVI Center two LAVI practitioners / two social worker assistants at 80% in a fixed-term contract.General missions of the position:- Provide psychological advice, listening, support, and therapeutic interventions.- Inform and advise the person about their procedural rights as a victim, provide legal advice, and assist them in the criminal procedure.- Inform the person about their potential rights to damages (procedures for public interventions, or prevention with third parties).- Participate in the life of the Service and contribute to enriching it during conferences and events.Required qualifications and experience:- HES degree in social work or equivalent degree.- 5 years of professional experience in a similar position.- Knowledge of the legal framework and work with victims of crime, interest in the legal field.- Knowledge of German or another foreign language is desired.Your profile:- Autonomy and a strong sense of priorities and stress management.- Good listening skills and the ability to manage emotionally charged team dynamics.What we offer:- A demanding and enriching activity in a constantly evolving environment and a multidisciplinary work framework within a recognized public utility.- Working conditions according to the collective labor agreement of the parapublic health sector in Vaud (CCT-San).- Our fixed-term contract (CDD) is for one year at 80%.- Start date: as soon as possible.- Work location: mainly Lausanne, but travel may be required within the canton.- Working days: presence required on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays.For additional information: Ms. X, deputy head of the Service.Want to join us?
