Job Description

Help Learners Build Confidence in GCSE Maths

TP Tutors is recruiting a dedicated GCSE Maths Tutor to provide one-to-one tuition in Crawley (RH11).

Support learners to strengthen their mathematical understanding, build confidence and make meaningful academic progress through personalised tuition tailored to their individual needs.

Location: Crawley, RH11
Contract: Flexible part-time and full-time opportunities
Pay: £25-£30 per hour
Delivery: One-to-one tuition in schools, community venues or learners' homes

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Deliver personalised one-to-one GCSE Maths tuition
  • Plan and adapt lessons according to each learner's needs
  • Support learners with exam preparation and key mathematical concepts
  • Build confidence, motivation and independent learning skills
  • Monitor and record learner progress
  • Maintain positive relationships with learners, families, schools and professionals
Essential Requirements
  • Experience teaching or tutoring GCSE Maths
  • Experience supporting children or young people in mainstream and/or SEN/SEND settings
  • Relevant experience in tutoring, teaching, mentoring, education or youth work
  • Good understanding of safeguarding practices
  • Ability to travel within Crawley and surrounding areas
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
