Hours: School hours (Monday to Friday)

TP Tutors is seeking experienced and dedicated 1:1 Tutors to support pupils across Daventry. This rewarding role involves delivering personalised tuition to children and young people in their homes or school settings during school hours.

About the Role

As a 1:1 Tutor, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and tailored lessons that meet each pupil's individual learning needs.
  • Provide tuition in English, Maths and/or Science, depending on your subject expertise.
  • Support pupils who may have missed education, require additional learning support, or have SEND needs.
  • Build positive relationships to encourage confidence, motivation and academic progress.
  • Complete session feedback and monitor pupil progress.
  • Work closely with schools, Local Authorities and families to ensure the best outcomes for every learner.
Essential Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years' teaching experience delivering the UK National Curriculum.
  • Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge and excellent communication skills.
  • A patient, flexible and nurturing approach to teaching.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable due to travel between tuition locations.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
