An established and highly regarded professional services firm is experiencing sustained growth across all departments and is now looking to appoint a Trust Manager / Senior Trust Manager to play a key role in the continued development of its Trust, Executry and Charity Accounting function.

This is a standout role for someone who wants more responsibility, influence and career momentum, without sacrificing balance or culture.

This is a rare opportunity to join a busy, stable and forward-looking firm with a genuinely positive outlook, where trust work is valued, investment in people is real, and work-life balance is actively protected.

The Opportunity

You will join a friendly, capable and growing Trust team, taking on a senior role that goes beyond day-to-day delivery. The firm is keen to appoint someone who will:

  • Help shape and drive the Trust team forward as it continues to grow
  • Lead the development and implementation of technology and process improvements that streamline routine trust work, enabling the wider team to focus on more complex, high-value matters
  • Contribute to project-based initiatives, including the adoption of new systems, automation and smarter working practices
  • Bring ideas, innovation and leadership to ensure the team continues to stay ahead of client expectations
Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation, review and coordination of trust, executry and charity accounts
  • Oversight of a broad range of trust structures, from straightforward to complex
  • Liaising with legal, tax and investment professionals (in-house and external)
  • Supporting the wider Trust team through guidance, delegation and mentoring
  • Contributing to improvements in systems, processes and technology
  • Helping to develop and future-proof the Trust accounting offering
About You
  • Strong experience in trust and executry accounting within professional services
  • Comfortable operating with autonomy and taking responsibility
  • Commercially aware, organised and detail-focused
  • Interested in innovation, systems and improving how work is delivered
  • Confident working with clients and colleagues at all levels
  • Keen to grow your career and influence the direction of a team
Why This Firm?
  • Excellent flexibility and hybrid working as standard
  • A culture that genuinely prioritises work-life balance and wellbeing
  • Strong commitment to professional support, training and career development
  • High levels of job security, stability and long-term opportunity
  • A collaborative environment where people are trusted and supported
  • A firm that is busier than ever, with a very positive future outlook

This role would particularly suit someone who feels ready to step up into a broader, more influential position with clear scope for progression.
