A high achieving secondary school with sixth form in Haringey is seeking an exceptional Triple Science Teacher to join its well regarded Science faculty from September 2026. As a Triple Science Teacher, you will deliver high quality, specialist lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics at GCSE, with opportunities to contribute to A Level teaching in your strongest discipline. You will use examination data and formative assessment to identify gaps and stretch pupils beyond the specification, contribute to departmental curriculum planning, and play an active role in the school's Science enrichment and university preparation programmes. Building confident, ambitious relationships with sixth form students and their families will be a rewarding part of your role.
What the School Is Looking For- Hold British QTS awarded through a UK accredited initial teacher training programme
- Graduated with a 2:1 or above in a Science discipline from a reputable university, ideally of the Russell Group
- Demonstrate solid classroom experience within a UK secondary school setting through placements or a substantive teaching post, with clear evidence of strong pupil outcomes across the sciences
- Show a thorough understanding of the Triple Science GCSE curriculum and confidence teaching across all three disciplines
- Be comfortable and effective within a consistent whole school behaviour framework
- Be legally entitled to work in the UK - visa sponsorship is not available and will not be considered
- ECT applicants with a strong Science specialism are welcomed provided formal UK teacher training has been completed or is in its final stages
Inner London MPS: £40,317 to £52,300, with UPS up to £62,496. TLR opportunities may be available for candidates with relevant curriculum or enrichment leadership experience within the Science department.
