BackgroundThis is a genuine decision-making triage role, not a booking service. You will lead on-the-day demand from a co-located triage hub, with an ACP, a GP Assistant and a triage admin team acting on your decisions in real time.Behind it sits one of the most admin-light models we have seen, so your time goes on clinical decisions and very little else
LocationThe practice is based in Hastings on the East Sussex coast, close to the seafront with shops and restaurants on the doorstep and free on-street parking nearby. Bexhill-on-Sea is around 15 minutes' drive, Eastbourne around 40 minutes and Royal Tunbridge Wells around 50 minutes, with direct trains to London taking around 90 minutes

Your Role4 to 8 sessions per week: a minimum of 4 triage sessions, with clinical sessions added around them if you want themTriage sessions: you make the decisions while the hub team handles callbacks, referrals and bookingsClinical sessions: 24 patients a day in 15-minute appointments, mostly face-to-faceFlexible working days; EMIS WebPotential route to partnership for the right GP, with clear scope to become a GP trainer or develop a special interestBest suited to GPs at least three years post-CCT who are confident managing demand decisively
Salary and Benefits- £13,384 per session

You must be qualified as a General Practitioner and registered with the GMC and UK performers list.
