About the roleAn exciting opportunity has opened up on our Treasury Team.
Reporting to the Treasury Associate Director, you will play a key role in providing Treasury support to the wider Davy business. Specific responsibilities include cash positioning and forecasting, funding, liquidity management, FX risk management and analysis and payments support.
In the role, the successful candidate will:
- Overseeing the cash positioning and funding requirements for the business.
- Monitor and reporting on any regulatory liquidity requirements.
- Monitor FX risk exposures - ensuring market trades are executed when needed.
- Monitor and review FX rates.
- Payment processing - funding transfers, client payments, 3rd party payments and FX settlements.
- Ensure all Treasury cash transactions are posted in the relevant ERP system.
- Preparation and circulation of treasury reporting.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide cover within the department as required.
- Work with Risk and Compliance to understand and improve on the existing Risk and Compliance frameworks associated with Treasury.
- Support and assist with Treasury related projects.
We are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills:
- Relevant 3rd level degree in Business, Finance or a related discipline.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem solving skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong processing skills and an eye for detail.
- Proven team player with a flexible attitude towards work.
- Past experience in a Treasury role an advantage, but not essential.
