Department DescriptionChannel 4's Finance team aims to be trusted advisors, supporting decision-making through insightful analysis, expert opinions, and timely, accurate reporting. Our goal is to ensure the sustainability of Channel 4 via robust financial controls and compliance.
Job PurposeThe role involves providing accurate treasury reporting, advice, and recommendations. Key responsibilities include managing working capital, investment and capital strategies, short-term cash forecasting, and maintaining banking relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Manage processes related to banking relationships and KYC requirements.
- Oversee RCF facility reporting.
- Review and optimize capital structure, liquidity sources, and working capital facilities.
- Manage investment strategies to maximize returns.
- Produce and report on the 13-week cash flow forecast.
- Update and review Treasury Policy.
- Manage ESG reporting for compliance with linked facilities.
- Handle working capital profile management.
- Prepare materials for the Treasury Risk Committee.
- Manage FX trading and forecasts.
- Review monthly bank reconciliations.
- Prepare Treasury Notes for the Annual Report.
- Design and improve treasury processes and controls.
- Collaborate with FP&A to understand cash needs and ensure forecast accuracy.
- Support strategic and corporate projects.
- Proven treasury experience or relevant qualifications.
- Experience in low-risk cash investments.
- Relevant degrees (e.g., finance, accounting, banking).
- Experience in cash flow forecasting.
- Understanding of cash management structures.
- Strong analytical, data interpretation, and summarization skills.
- Ability to challenge and negotiate with banks.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ownership mindset with process improvement focus.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-oriented with relationship-building abilities.
- Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling.
- Logical problem-solving skills.

- Experience with Power BI dashboards or similar tools.
- Experience in the technology, media, or telecom sectors.
