Role Overview

As part of the Tesco team, you will support retail customers with their foreign exchange needs, ensuring a positive travel experience. Your role involves building customer relationships, providing expert advice, and processing transactions accurately while adhering to legal and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

1. Develop relationships with customers to understand their travel and currency requirements
2. Act as a travel money ambassador, promoting Travelex products and services
3. Process foreign exchange transactions accurately and efficiently
4. Meet procedural, operational, and customer service goals
5. Handle online FX requests and deliveries with attention to detail
6. Follow legal, regulatory, and compliance procedures

Candidate Requirements

1. Numerical proficiency for handling cash and currency
2. IT skills, familiarity with computer systems and tills (training provided)
3. Excellent communication skills and relationship-building ability
4. Driven and motivated to succeed and make a positive impact

Interview Process

1. Initial screening call by Talent Acquisition or Bureau Managers
2. Online interview including a numerical and accuracy test
3. Visit to the bureau to meet the manager and see the environment
4. Job offer if successful, with reference checks as part of onboarding
