Transport Supervisor - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Noble Recruiting are delighted to be supporting a well-established Essex-based organisation in their search for an experienced Transport Supervisor on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This is a key role within the logistics function, working closely with commercial, procurement and production teams to ensure the smooth and compliant movement of goods in and out of the site.

• Manage day-to-day logistics schedules for goods in and goods out
• Coordinate closely with commercial, procurement and production teams
• Ensure on-time delivery to end customers in compliance with ADR, IMDG and IATA standards
• Maintain accurate and compliant transport documentation
• Monitor and distribute transport and freight rates internally
• Support customs and transport administrators to ensure full compliance
• Assist with scheduled and ad hoc operational logistics activities

• Minimum 2 years' experience within transport or logistics
• Knowledge of import/export processes or customs desirable
• Experience using CRM or ERP systems
• Strong organisational and coordination skills
• Good geographical knowledge
• Confident in managing supplier and customer relationships
• Driver with own transport essential due to location
