Job Description

At Jacobs, we're challenging today to reinvent tomorrow by solving the world's most critical problems for thriving cities, resilient environments, mission critical outcomes, operational advancement, scientific discovery and cutting edge manufacturing, turning abstract ideas into realities that transform the world for good.

Your impact

You are a traffic or transport Planner with a passion for creating safer, more sustainable and better designed streets and places. You bring strong technical expertise, sound professional judgement and a practical, solutions focused mindset to complex urban transport challenges.

You enjoy working collaboratively within multi disciplinary teams and engaging constructively with clients and stakeholders. Whether developing active travel schemes, re allocating road space, or shaping high quality urban streets, you are motivated by delivering designs that respond to their context and make a tangible difference to communities.

You take pride in the quality of your work, are confident working across all project stages, and enjoy mentoring others while continuing to develop your own technical leadership.

  • Proven experience delivering projects through all design stages, from concept to detailed design and delivery support, including site supervision
  • Ability to manage workload effectively while mentoring junior staff and contributing to team development
  • Experience contributing to bids, client engagement and awareness of emerging trends and best practice
  • A clear commitment to knowledge sharing, staff development and technical leadership
