Transplant Clinical Nurse Specialist

A rare opportunity to join the small, but dynamic team of transplant specialist nurses. This is a fixed term contract (9 months).

Main duties of the job

The role involves working with and supporting renal transplant recipients, within the outpatient setting, throughout their transplant journey. This includes working with renal patients up to go onto the transplant list and caring for them post transplant.

In this role you will be supported to develop skills to see patients autonomously within the clinic setting. We will welcome applications from capable and enthusiastic individuals, who have experience working in the renal/transplant setting, or have transferable skills, and want to be part of our busy, dynamic, forward thinking team.

Person Specification
  • Evidence of 3 years' experience as a registered nurse in an acute hospital setting
  • Non-medical prescribing, Health Assessment or equivalent qualification; Experience of working in transplantation
  • Evidence of 2 years' experience of working in renal
