Job Summary

As the Transformation Project Manager, you will assume the role of a global project leader, with the primary responsibility of overseeing and executing pivotal transformation projects within the Swissport Global network.


Our ongoing projects predominantly revolve around productivity improvement, including better Planning, Rostering and Allocation of our workforce by developing and launching proprietary tools. Consequently, we are seeking a qualified candidate who can run business analysis to identify value opportunities, support regions on the implementation of value-levers, track and validate the impact captured and cover the gap between Business and IT developers when developing new infrastructure to support the business.


Job Responsibilities

The following responsibilities are associated with this job role:

  • Run the assessment / trade-offs of different solutions to scale-up the benefits of the transformation in each region.
  • Prioritize the deployment / launch of new initiatives based on a balance between value and effort / cost.
  • Define the key activities and an implementation plan for each project / region.
  • Set-up regional project and BaU teams.
  • Manage and coach regional teams on execution.
  • Build-up new processes at regional level.
  • Track project implementation and benefits capture.
  • Lead Global Steerings at Management level.
  • Be the interim Product Owner of proprietary tools that we are developing to scale the business.

Qualifications and Competencies

  • University Degree in Management, Engineering or related field of study.
  • 5+ years of experience of leading complex and international projects in a top-ranked consulting firm and/ or industry (Manager level).
  • Fluent written and verbal command of English as the corporate language, any other language is a plus.
  • Proven track record in running large projects on a global scale, including the ability of dealing with different profiles, cultures and time zones.
  • Demonstrable end to end project delivery experience.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Financial management of projects, budgeting, actuals tracking and reporting.
  • Team focused working style that fits into a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive, professional, internal and external work relationships with all stakeholders.
