The Transformation Portfolio Office Manager leads the PMO to align change initiatives with strategic goals, overseeing governance, risk, and reporting for a portfolio of projects. They ensure benefits realization, manage resource capacity, and drive strategic transformation, acting as a crucial link between executive leadership and project delivery teams.

Responsibilities
  • Steering Committee preparation (Corporate Services-CSCo, Enterprise Design Authority EDA and Transformation Steering Committee-Trans Co) with stakeholder engagement support, coaching and follow up.
  • Wiring of all inputs from enterprise Target operating model work- (eTOM), Business planning and stretch targets into coherent benefits tracking funnel profile across Financial Years.
  • Accurate and timely Transformation Office (TO) Directorate Risk tracking across and up to enterprise level, flowing into Synergy system and representation at Risk Review & Challenge Group.
  • Ability to engage with Assurance and audit teams and address any areas of concern out of assurance reports and suggested improvement areas.
  • Input prep and support for Board papers.
  • Co ad and support business units in understanding, preparation across stage gate governance and assurance frameworks.
  • Sufficient capacity to understand character and detail and the various portfolios and the variety/complexity of initiatives driving business benefits across SGN.
What you will need
  • Experience: 4+ years in a portfolio management, PMO lead, or similar role focusing on complex change/transformation. Ideally working for or with Big 4 consultancy.
  • Skills: High-level strategic thinking, strong stakeholder management, financial acumen (budgeting/forecasting), and expertise in project management standards.
  • Qualifications: Certification in PRINCE2, MSP, APMG, or equivalent.
  • Tools: Experience with PPM tools and ideally Business Intelligence (Power BI) for reporting and tracking. Microsoft Office suite; Excel, PowerPoint.

  • Achieving ROI through monitored benefits realisation.
  • Portfolio on track with strategic roadmap delivery and Value bearing milestones.
  • Effective management of portfolio-level risks and issues.
