As a Transformation & People Strategist, you will play a key role in driving sustainable transformation in the Core Banking, Client and Financial Crime Prevention (FCP) Tribes. You will be part of the Challengers Team, reporting to the Challenger Lead of the Value Chain Daily, within ING's Transformation Office Tribe.
It's a hands-on role inside the Leadership team, acting as partner and driver for strategic topics with high tribe-wide relevance. You will bring your helicopter view to connect dots and elevate conversations. You'll act as a force multiplier by helping the Tribe Lead and People Leaders to go out-of-silo mode while co-shaping an overarching perspective on people engagement and performance.
Positioned at the heart of the tribe, You're not a support function. You are changing catalyst challenging patterns and connecting the dots between performance and fostering people development-ultimately helping the tribe thrive.
You will be part of a growing Challengers Team that supports each other, shares learnings, and evolves together as a transformation capability inside ING.
You'll work close to Tribe Leads, People Leaders, HR Business Partners and Talent & Training

Your key responsibilities
- Lead the intersection of People & Productivity, spotting and activating the engagement-performance bridge. Develop alignment on what 'good' looks like.
- Lead the People Agenda, structuring regular leadership conversations on engagement, development, performance and workforce planning.
- Drive the Unlock Full Potential strategy, enabling visibility and career paths for high-potential talent across the Tribe.
- Manage the Tribe's training budget, aligning learning investments with strategic priorities.
- Be a strategic challenger, giving direction where needed, sparking courageous conversations and guiding leadership reflection with bold, constructive input.
- Take ownership of change initiatives, from design to implementation and impact tracking, especially those that aim to improve people engagement and productivity.
- Influence decisions with data, using metrics to reveal pain points and support decisions, working across tech and business domains.
- Co-design, implement and monitor tribe-wide learning investments or engagement initiatives in collaboration with people leaders and the Transformation Office.
- Accelerate execution: improve delivery focus, risk visibility and leadership alignment across business and tech.
- Facilitate a culture of reflection and continuous learning, increasing awareness and driving better decision-making.
- Act on data: use Pulse, OHI, performance metrics and team feedback to challenge the status quo and drive better decisions.
- Be part of the broader Challenger network, contributing to collective intelligence and evolving our shared impact narrative.
- Serve as an interpreter and translator of organizational intentions into daily practices that unlock tribe potential.
- Lead or co-lead OKRs and Portfolio Management capability-building moments, contributing to a continuous improvement culture across the tribe.
- Partner with Scrum Masters and POs to boost team effectiveness and overcome delivery blockers.
- Lead or co-lead CoPs and capability-building initiatives, contributing to a continuous improvement culture across the Tribe.

- Master's or bachelor's degree

- Solid understanding of Delivery Framework, OKRs, and Tribe-level operating models.
- Experience with topics such as performance, talent, leadership, engagement strategy or business transformation.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders, tech and people leaders alike.
- Self-organized and able to simplify in essential elements to accomplish the goals
- Strong project management skills, from facilitating conversations and turning insights into action to implementing and tracking.
- Experience in running, coaching or supporting performance execution (data, cadence, visibility).
- A helicopter view: you can see the system and how change happens across levels.
- An out-of-the-box thinker with the ability to challenge the status quo and lead in unstructured spaces.
- Negotiation and stakeholder management.
- Able to simplify complex challenges and bring clarity to decision-making.
- Problem solving mindset, with ability to challenge the status quo and identify improvement initiatives
- Fluency in navigating people and organizational dynamics.
- A strong communicator with excellent Spanish and English skills.
