Training Specialist Healthcare/Medical Devices

On behalf of our client, we are currently recruiting for a Training Specialist for their medical devices products. The role will cover territory nationwide, although the person will ideally be based near the Greater Dublin area.
As a Training Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in enabling healthcare professionals to deliver safe and effective patient care through the use of our technologies. You will lead the delivery of product training across our Automated Infusion Systems portfolio, ensuring users have the knowledge and confidence to use our products correctly.
This is a highly collaborative role, working in partnership with healthcare teams and internal stakeholders to support product adoption, enhance user experience and drive positive patient outcomes.
In this role your core responsibilities will include:- Deliver product training on our Automated Infusion Systems product portfolio, Safe Infusion Therapy and Safety Products within our Hospital Channel portfolio.
- Support healthcare professionals to build confidence and competence in the safe use, handling and troubleshooting of company products, contributing to improved patient outcomes.
- Facilitate product demonstrations and practice-based workshops in Hospital Education Centres, and other Health Care Facilities nationwide.
- Plan, coordinate and deliver training programmes for existing and potential customers, ensuring a high-quality and consistent approach.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with hospital education teams and key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement annual training plans.
- Maintain accurate training records, manage the training calendar, and ensure documentation is compliant with quality system requirements.
- Monitor, evaluate and report on training activities to support continuous improvement.
- Represent company at relevant industry and trade association events as required.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders including education teams, clinical engineers, nurse management and nurse practitioners.
- Collaborate with Technical Services and Sales teams to support product evaluations, installations and tender submissions, ensuring a high-quality customer experience.
- Respond to customer queries in a timely, accurate and professional manner.
- Maintain and continuously improve training materials for each device as appropriate and ensure sufficient training materials are available for training sessions.
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge on the Company's range of products/ services to ensure accuracy of communications and strong reputation and credibility with customers.
- Based within reasonable commuting distance of the Greater Dublin area.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel nationwide (32 counties).
- Nursing qualification is advantageous but not essential.
- Experience delivering clinical or product training is desirable.
- Knowledge of infusion pumps or medical devices an advantage.
- Strong planning, organization and work prioritisation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
- Ability to develop structured training materials to support effective learning outcomes.
- Strong administrative and IT skills.
- Full clean driving license.
- Eligibility to work in Ireland.
