We are seeking a quality-focused and proactive Assessment Operations Team Leader to support the Reasonable Adjustments and Special Considerations process, Gateway Reviews, and EPA administration. This role reports to the Assessment Operations Manager and is responsible for supporting a team of officers in a regulated, high-volume environment. While Booking Coordinators report directly to the Manager, the Team Leader will provide support with bookings when required to ensure SLA targets are met. This role requires a strong eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards across all operational processes. Key Responsibilities Oversee the Reasonable Adjustment (RA) and Special Consideration (SC) process, ensuring requests are assessed and implemented with accuracy, sensitivity, and in line with compliance with regulatory standards, supporting fair and equitable access to assessment for all learners. Support daily data administration and system-related tasks, including ad hoc data exercises and engagement with our apprentice management system to ensure accuracy and operational efficiency. Ensure robust and accurate Gateway reviews are completed as part of the readiness process, verifying that all required evidence is in place before learner's progress to assessment. Act as overflow support to the wider team to help meet SLA demands during peak periods. Other Responsibilities Conduct audits of team outputs to ensure accuracy and compliance. Provide structured feedback and coaching to team members. Lead daily huddles to communicate priorities and foster team engagement. Conduct regular 1:1s to support performance and development. Deliver high quality training sessions to officers. Provide support to the wider Operational Services Pillar and the Head of Operational Services, as needed. Key Requirements Proven experience in leading operational processes. Previous line management experience or team leader experience. The ability to give feedback, lead and inspire. Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities. High attention to detail and commitment to quality. Desirable Requirements Proven experience in managing complex operational processes in an education, training, or assessment environment. Strong understanding of assessment regulations, including RA/SC and Gateway processes. Previous experience in a similar role.
