Training Officer - Social Care

Please note that the advertised salary for this position is subject to the pending 2026/2027 national pay award. The final salary will be adjusted accordingly once this has been agreed.

Join the busy Learning & Development Team and help to ensure our social work and social care workforce has the right skills and knowledge to deliver excellent services for the citizens of Ceredigion.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver training programmes for council staff and the external social care workforce.
• Support and coordinate the Trainee Social Work Scheme.
• Attend Train the Trainer events and plan & deliver the roll out of training programmes.

Work Arrangements

• Hybrid Working, Part time working or Job Share may be considered for the right candidate.
• Flexible scheduling, including flex time within a defined bandwidth Monday to Friday, subject to service needs.
