The roleAs a Training Designer, you will play a vital role in shaping high quality, innovative training solutions that support military capability. Working within a specialist team, you will lead the design and development of training programmes aligned to defence standards, ensuring learners are equipped with the skills they need to succeed in critical environments.
Day to day responsibilities- Lead the design and development of training programmes and materials in line with defence standards.
- Manage projects from initial requirements through to final delivery and implementation.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure training meets operational needs.
- Develop innovative learning solutions using a variety of media and technologies.
- Ensure compliance with Ministry of Defence regulations and internal quality standards.
This role is full time, 37 hours per week, and offers flexible working arrangements with a mix of onsite and home based days. Travel to our sites at Minley and Bicester may also be required.
Essential experience- Experience in training design or instructional design, ideally within a defence or military environment.
- Demonstrate the ability to analyse and improve training programmes for effectiveness and efficiency.
- Create engaging learning solutions using a range of digital tools and technologies.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and communicate effectively at all levels.
- Show willingness to undertake further training and professional development, including occasional off site training.
