Job Description

Endeavour Recruitment has an excellent contract opportunity for a Training and Documentation Officer to join a leading client in Brussels.

Hybrid role: 3-4 days onsite per week in Brussels.

EU nationals only. EU/NATO Security Clearance will be required.

Daily rate: 470 Euros

Tasks

  • Plan, write, and edit existing or new user manuals.
  • Work closely with other cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy in the manuals.
  • Handle multiple guides and manuals simultaneously.
  • Adapt to changing requirements and deal with dynamic schedules.
  • Develop stakeholders' promotions and communications (leaflet, newsletter).
  • Assist in the preparation and drafting of various communications (email, programme/project communication, internal/external communication, meeting presentations, etc.).
  • Assist with standardization of communication means.
  • Work independently through all stages of the document development life cycle.
  • Act as an editor and proofreader by participating in peer reviews.
  • Apply corporate quality standards and policies.
  • Ensure consistency among documents or drafts, confirming accuracy of references, footnotes, or captions.
  • Ensure conventional training on information and communication systems, from preparation to diffusion.
  • Ensure E-learning training on information and communication systems, from preparation to publishing.
  • Coordinate trainings on information and communication systems.
  • Ensure follow-up of training results.

Additional Needed Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Training and Documentation Officer in defence, government, or financial organizations.
  • Writing, proofreading, or publishing experience, preferably with IT documents.
  • Experience in IT training, including at least one E-learning course.
  • Strong understanding of IT concepts and ability to quickly grasp new acronyms and technologies.
  • Excellent written English language skills.
  • Good knowledge of presentation tools (eg, PowerPoint).
  • PC skills and proficiency in MS Office and MS Visio.
  • Knowledge of proofreading and typesetting standards.
  • Ability to interpret and follow page layout specifications.
  • Expertise in language style, accuracy, and speed in reading detailed material.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral, in French and English.
