Position: Trainee Store Manager - Full time contract available

Salary: £30,500 per annum

Purpose

Support operations of the store in Salisbury and surrounding areas, with progression opportunities to Cover Manager and potentially Store Manager after training.

Requirements

Must be able to drive (travel required across Salisbury, Portsmouth, Plymouth, Bournemouth, Isle of Wight). Background in retail or related sector. Flexible travel schedule. Problem solving, people skills, ability to plan and coordinate resources, customer service focus. Numerate and attention to detail.

Key Activities

• Motivate and coach the team to deliver excellent customer service.
• Promote and recommend complimentary shoe care products; demonstrate confidence with selling and excellent product knowledge.
• Create and draft rotas; manage within budget.
• Stock management.
• Analyze and interpret sales performance data and reports.
• Recommend ways to improve sales performance based on quantitative and qualitative data and customer insights.
• Implement and maintain all company standards (merchandising, admin).
• Support delivery of KPI's, meeting all company standards.
• Assist in recruitment and training of the team.
