We're looking for a Trainee Paraplanner to join our clients Edinburgh based team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong analytical thinking, great communication skills, and a passion for financial planning to develop into a skilled paraplanner.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Trainee Paraplanner, you'll play a key role in supporting their Financial Advisors and delivering an exceptional client experience. Day to day, you will:

  • Provide trusted, proactive support to a team of Financial Advisors
  • Help manage and process both new and existing client business
  • Assist in coordinating administration support and ensuring service standards stay high
  • Apply Conduct Risk principles in all tasks
  • Build knowledge of core Financial Planning solutions through real client scenarios
  • Analyse client needs, highlight planning opportunities, and construct financial solutions
  • Produce accurate, robust financial plans and supporting analysis (with guidance)
  • Support client interactions and develop a strong understanding of advice processes
  • Contribute to a collaborative, dynamic and quality-driven team environment

What You'll Bring

Must-have:

  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • A self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently

Nice-to-have:

  • Currently studying toward, or planning to study toward, the CII Level 4 Diploma (or equivalent)
