Our client, a leading organisation in the financial services industry, is seeking a talented Trade Support Middle Office Representative to join their dynamic team on a temporary contract basis for 12 months. Role: Trade Support Middle Office Representative

Duration: 12 Months

Mon - Fri (Standard Hours)

Location: Manchester (Hybrid 4 Days a week in office)

Rate: £200 pd (PAYE)

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee quality control of processing and workflow within the Middle Office team, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Review and approve work conducted by junior team members, providing guidance and mentorship as needed.
• Conduct analysis and research on complex transactions, identifying effective solutions to intricate inquiries.
• Serve as a subject matter expert, facilitating the maintenance of trade static data, trade enrichment, and handling of trade exceptions and market claims.
• Execute complex reconciliations analysis including cash, asset, and trade matching, while resolving any reconciliation breaks and trade fails.
• Participate in the monthly end-client statement workflow, ad hoc reporting, and incident management.
• Identify, resolve, and escalate issues affecting the accuracy of the Investment Book of Record (IBOR).
• Regularly interact with clients to address questions and resolve multifaceted inquiries related to complex transactions.

What Our Client Is Looking For:

To thrive in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• A bachelor's degree in finance or a relevant combination of education and experience.
• Proven experience in Middle Office services, trade support, or a related field.
• Familiarity with trade processes for equities, bonds, and corporate actions.
• Experience in client/customer-facing roles, particularly engaging with brokers and custodians.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to handle complex reconciliations and break assignments.
• Exposure to AI technologies is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Copilot, as a primary tool for executing tasks.
