Job Description
Overview
Fed up with weekend work? Want a sales role where your effort actually pays off? This is a chance to join a family-run business near Newark where you'll only work Monday to Friday, start on a £28,000 basic salary, and after 3 months begin earning uncapped commission on top. No corporate red tape, no clock-watching - just a supportive team, great products, and a system that makes your job easier.
What's in it for you?- £28,000 basic + commission after 3 months
- Monday-Friday only - your weekends are yours
- A non-corporate, family-run environment where you're valued
- Full training & onboarding to set you up for success
- A smart call-back and lead management system that automates follow-ups so you can focus on selling
- Work closely with the product development team and become a genuine product expert
- Speaking to trade and retail customers on the phone, following up warm leads, and converting sales
- Matching customers to the right products (think timber, sheds, decking, fencing, outdoor living, home improvement)
- Spotting upsell opportunities and building strong, long-term customer relationships
- Handling admin like call notes, follow-ups, and scheduling through the company's state-of-the-art sales system
- Feeding customer insights back into the product team to help shape future ranges
- Someone with sales experience - whether that's trade counter, telesales, B2B, B2C, or home/garden product sales
- A go-getter with tenacity, energy, and drive - not afraid to pick up the phone and make things happen
- Confident, customer-focused, and motivated by commission
- Any background in timber, joinery, garden buildings, DIY, or home improvement products will give you a head start
This isn't just another sales job - it's the chance to join a growing business, get rewarded for your results, and work in a team that values initiative and drive over corporate box-ticking.
