Trade Operations Manager

Role Purpose:
PIC has a great opportunity for a Trade Operations Manager Knowledge of Investment, Policy holder, Compliance, Audit, Regulatory and Risk requirements to join our Trade Operations team as part of the IPP investment platform project. This will involve collaborating with several internal departments as well as manage external provider relationships to secure their buy-in and implement improvements to systems, processes, and technology, as appropriate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Trade Operations Team ensuring Trade Operations activities are appropriately resourced with the correct knowledge and skillset to deliver the relevant and agreed outcomes for the function.
- Elevate talent to develop and enhance both technical and non-technical skills required to deliver strong and purposeful results to internal stakeholders and PICs policyholders from the team.
- Conduct thorough analysis of Business, teams and individuals' performance objectives, MI and KPI data
- Responsible for the successful delivery of teams BAU deliverables, Success of project and change delivery, development of self and direct reports
- Prepare comprehensive reports reflective of the intended audience that demonstrate sound analysis and recommendations for Risk events, strategic developments & efficiently enhancements as part of the Risk, change and efficiency improvement deliverable.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Experience working in a corporate or consulting environment, the majority in Investment Operations with a recognised qualification Investment and Securities IOC.
Technical
- Good technical knowledge of operating models, trade life cycle flow, reconciliation's, products such as fixed income, money market funds, FX. managing change, audit and regulatory requirements.
- Familiar with trading markets derivative products, Insurance and investment regulatory requirements
- Experience in developing self and reports
- Experience of delivering timely BAU and department related business projects
- Capable and willing to work towards achieving IMC qualification
