Town Planner

A growing independent planning consultancy in the North East is looking to appoint a Town Planner to support continued expansion. The business has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality planning advice across residential and commercial projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Planner looking to develop their career within a supportive and collaborative environment.

You will play a key role in supporting project delivery across a varied portfolio of work.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing and submitting planning applications
• Undertaking site appraisals and planning research
• Drafting planning statements and supporting reports
• Liaising with local authorities and key stakeholders
• Supporting senior team members on larger projects
• Attending client and project meetings

The role offers strong exposure to the full planning process and clear opportunities for progression.

• Degree qualified in Town Planning or related discipline
• Working towards MRTPI (or recently qualified)
• Experience within consultancy or local authority
• Strong written and communication skills
• Proactive and eager to develop professionally
