STEM Recruitment Partners are working with MGS Healthcare Manufacturing to recruit a Toolmaker / Tooling Support Specialist for their facility in Leixlip. Reporting to the Toolroom Manager, you will support the maintenance, repair and continuous improvement of high-precision injection moulding tools within a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain multi-cavity, hot runner, valve-gated and stack moulds
• Carry out tool builds, repairs and modifications
• Support tool changes, trials and validations
• Manufacture and repair jigs, fixtures, gauges and tooling components
• Maintain tooling records and specifications
• Troubleshoot mould and tooling issues with Production and Engineering teams
• Support continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards

Requirements

• Experience in toolmaking, tooling, injection moulding, maintenance or a similar manufacturing environment
• Trade qualification Level 6 minimum
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with tooling, mould changes or mould maintenance
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment

Advantageous

• Toolmaking qualification
• Injection moulding experience
• Experience using mills, lathes and surface grinders
• GMP or regulated manufacturing experience
• Lock Out/Tag Out experience
