Tooling SME - Network Engineer - Remote Contract

Korn Ferry Project Solutions is seeking a Network Tooling & Observability SME to support a major health insurance client's network modernisation initiative as part of its wider 100% cloud strategy.

You will take a hands-on role in configuring, integrating and optimising the tooling that underpins network operations, monitoring and service visibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, manage and optimise SolarWinds Hybrid Cloud Observability (HCO) for monitoring, alerting and reporting.
• Support the operational use and integration of Palo Alto Strata Cloud Manager.
• Deliver integrations between SolarWinds, Strata Cloud Manager, Cisco Meraki and ServiceNow.
• Improve network observability, dashboards, and provide service performance reporting.
• Collaborate with network engineering, Operations Centre teams and senior stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve automation, tooling strategy and operational efficiency.

Essential Experience

• Hands-on SolarWinds HCO experience, including monitoring and alerting configuration.
• Practical experience with Palo Alto Strata Cloud Manager.
• Experience integrating network monitoring tools with ServiceNow.
• Strong knowledge of network monitoring, observability and enterprise network operations.
• Ability to work independently as a technical SME, combining hands-on delivery with stakeholder engagement.
