We value expertise at Nuffield Health. It's our combination of expert knowledge, innovative thinking and passion for care that has enabled us to become Britain's largest not for profit healthcare provider. It has also helped us to build a unique network delivering connected healthcare - from hospitals, to Fitness and Wellbeing Clubs, to specialist services including physiotherapy. Across our network, brilliant people benefit from our commitment to invest every penny in our services and people. With more time and greater scope to do what you love, the specialist in you will thrive here. We're looking for exceptional Theatre Practitioners to join our bank, offering support and assistance to the Consultants during procedures. With drive, passion and high standards, you might join us from the NHS or a private setting. Either way, you'll discover unrivalled scope to work autonomously, make full use of your skills and knowledge and add value. This is nursing as it should be. You'll be able to grow your career and be free of the constraints that prevent you from achieving job satisfaction. We know you thrive on the pressure and intensity of theatre work.

As a Theatre Practitioner in Anaesthetic, you will:

  • Work with leading consultants and like-minded professionals
  • Enjoy a varied caseload with state-of-the-art technology, equipment and facilities
  • Supervise, support and develop junior members of staff
  • Create high-quality care and patient experiences that are clinically effective and evidence based
  • Ensure the safe administration of anaesthetics and monitor vital signs throughout surgical procedures
  • Participate in maintaining a sterile operating environment and adhering to all safety protocols
  • Collaborate closely with anaesthetists and surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and interact closely with colleagues on the ward
  • Have ample opportunities for continuous growth and personal development
  • Helping you feel good.

We want you to love coming to work, feeling healthy, happy and valued.

  • Holiday in line with the Working Time Directive
  • Access to our Pension Scheme
  • Discounted gym membership at £35.00 a month.

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.
