Test Specialist

As a preferred supplier to one of our biggest financial organisations, I am seeking for a Test Specialist for a 6 months+ contract in Netherlands.

Responsibilities:

As a Test Specialist, you are responsible for effectively and efficiently ensuring product quality. You take control of test processes and play a key role in the preparation and execution of tests. You are continuously working on the quality of the product and the processes and improving them. You think along with your team in the broadest sense to make the team successful. You build bridges in your field to other teams to continuously build, share and use knowledge in daily work.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in testing software applications;
• Expertise in functional and non-functional testing, such as acceptance testing and performance testing;
• Experience in developing test cases and implementing them;
• Risk-oriented thinking and translating product risks into efficient and effective QA measures;
• Experience with test and QA tooling and applying different test techniques in a context-driven manner;
• A strong QA mindset and knowledge of test specification techniques, with the ability to apply these in different contexts and depths;
• Ability to perform product risk analyses and communicate non-test related quality measures;
• Proactive attitude in identifying and implementing improvements within QA and test processes.
