About the roleWe are seeking a dedicated, experienced individual to join the Operations team as a Test Lead.
The responsibilities of the Test Lead include ensuring adherence to the enterprise testing framework, designing, and delivering effective testing for projects and change activities.
You will also provide line management for a small team of testers, supporting their development and project needs, and fostering testing capability.
You will communicate clearly and constructively across all levels of the organization to ensure engagement in testing activities.
Key attributes include a strong drive to achieve business outcomes, excellent collaboration skills, and a focus on continuous improvement. Attention to detail and understanding blockers to effective change are essential.
Key responsibilities- Collaborate with product owners, project managers, developers, and analysts to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage throughout delivery.
- Develop and maintain test plans and schedules aligned with project goals.
- Assign tasks to testers, monitor progress, and ensure quality deliverables.
- Lead testing efforts across multiple projects and environments.
- Review test cases, scripts, and data for accuracy.
- Arrange test environments and facilitate defect triage meetings.
- Track quality metrics and promote testing best practices.
- Mentor junior testers and provide technical guidance.
- Participate in release planning and support UAT, OAT as needed.
Required:
- Proven experience as a Test Lead or similar role.
- Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing for web, mobile, and enterprise applications.
- Strong knowledge of testing methods, tools, and processes.
- Understanding of SDLC, Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid delivery methods.
- Experience with risk-based testing frameworks.
- Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools like JIRA, Zephyr.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of test automation, performance, and security testing tools.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman.
- Understanding of product risk assessments and applying them to testing.
- Relevant certifications like ISTQB Advanced Test Manager are desirable.
