Job Description
Endeavour Recruitment has an excellent for a Freelance Test Engineer (automation/manual) based in Belgium.
Hybrid role: 50% onsite and 50% homeworking.
Test Engineer, for manual testing and test automation in the context of Fraud.
Knowledge of banking/insurance sector is an asset.
Role description:
- Create test plan in collaboration with the involved stakeholders
- Participate to 3 amigo/refinement meetings within the squad
- Plan and prepare the manual tests, including test data
- Execute manual tests
- Test automation: define a strategy to automate the existing and new test cases.
- Align with the Tribe Test Engineer on the strategy and help to increase the testing maturity in the squad
- Usage of the community of practice (COP) to raise issues or to share best practices that can be used by others
- Being Feature Quality Owner (FQO), for the assigned features you are E2E are responsible for the quality (setup test plan, align with all involved parties, report on status (progress and defects)
- Identify, communicate and manage the constraints, impediments, risk(s) and issues to keep qualitative delivery on-track.
- Work autonomously while being a strong team player
Experience:
- 3 + years' experience as a Test Automation Engineer
- Experience in implementation of test strategy, test automation
- Thorough experience working in or with Agile development teams
- Hands-on experience with Octane, Java programming
- Git version control
- Cucumber with Junit
- Selenium WebDriver
- Page Object Model
- Test automation best practices, others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach and mentor teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
