Tender Manager

As a Tender Manager will be part of a highly dedicated and professional team, which is responsible for delivering the highest quality of service to an internationally dedicated client base. The main purpose of your role is to ensure that all tenders received are qualified and processed across all products. The Tender Manager will act as Process Owner for all tenders.

Location: Rotterdam, Amsterdam or Hamburg

Hours per week: Full Time

Key responsibilities

You will play an active part in the company's commercial development. Next to this you will have the following tasks:

• Ensure all eligible tenders are processed through our digital tender tool, WinMore.
• Qualify tenders in close collaboration with the Sales team.
• Manage and facilitate all qualified tenders with a strong sense of urgency.
• Maintain high standards of data accuracy in all tender proposals.
• Store relevant tender documents in the Commercial Hub as needed.
• Ensure timely submission of proposals within set deadlines.
• Organize alignment calls with colleagues regarding pricing and submission strategies.
• Support Sales by participating in pre-tender meetings and negotiation discussions.
• Review and align operational terms and requirements with POFM standard terms and cost structures, involving Contract Management and Sales where necessary.
• Ensure all applicable products are taken into consideration during tender qualification.
• Conduct thorough checks of all data inputs to ensure accuracy.
• Lead feedback discussions and support award phase processes.
• Coordinate a smooth handover of awarded tenders to relevant teams.
• Share critical updates and information on ongoing tenders with stakeholders.

Your profile

• Experience in similar job and affinity with logistics and transport, especially container and trailer transport throughout Europe
• Experience with a digital tender tool - particularly WinMore - will be considered an advantage
• Good command of English language and another European languages
• Affinity with logistics and transport throughout Europe
• Good knowledge of MS Office packages
• Team work, accuracy to numbers and a good sense of urgency
