We have 1x Permanent, Full-time position available with a competitive pay and benefits package including a starting salary of £27,332 a year, rising to £29,805 per year after key competencies of the role are met.
Reporting to Senior Tenant Liaison Officer, this role is responsible for being the main point of contact for the customer during any major works that are being conducted at our properties, ensuring our customers are fully informed of progress. By achieving set objectives, the post holder will ensure service demands are met timely, effectively, and efficiently, supporting the delivery of operational plans.
The role of Tenant Liaison Officer is a pivotal role within our Assets Team as they act as the first point of contact for the major works improvement team. Working closely with contractors, sub-contractors, and stakeholders as well as the wider community, you will be expected to build and maintain excellent working relationships while ensuring major works projects are being carried out efficiently and effectively for the business and our Contract Holders.
Qualifications & Skills- Have excellent relationship building and communication skills, being able to adapt to a wide portfolio of customers while balancing demands in a reasonable manner.
- Be customer focused, managing expectations whilst informing and supporting tenants through the programme while balancing the needs of the business and our external contractors.
- Have experience of dealing with contractors, sub-contractors and providers of construction works, ensuring progress and minimal disruption to our tenants.
- Be able to think critically looking at all possible outcomes and coming to the best solution for the business, contractor, community and tenant alike.
- Be self motivated due to the demanding nature of the role where you are expected to travel throughout the borough often lone working.
- Have a good standard of ICT literacy. The use of iPads and general officer software is essential to the role.
- Be a positive and resilient individual who is able to address problems and complaints in a timely manner and recognise patterns and trends in complaints to be addressed to resolve these going forward.
