Location: Penge, London (Hybrid Working)
Contract: Temporary Contract until March 2027
Hours: Full-Time
Rate: £22.03 per hour PAYE or £27.10 per hour Umbrella

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a Tenancy Specialist to join a busy housing team based in Penge, London, on a long-term contract through to March 2027.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced housing professional to play a vital role in delivering high-quality tenancy management services, supporting residents, sustaining tenancies and resolving complex housing management issues.

Working on a hybrid basis, you will manage a designated caseload while working closely with residents, colleagues and external agencies to ensure positive outcomes are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of tenancy management matters.
• Support residents to sustain their tenancies and access appropriate services.
• Investigate tenancy breaches and implement appropriate interventions.
• Manage safeguarding and complex vulnerability cases.
• Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with housing policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate case records and reports.
• Deliver excellent customer-focused housing services.

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience within tenancy management, housing management or neighbourhood services.
• Sound understanding of housing legislation and tenancy management principles.
• Experience dealing with complex resident cases and tenancy breaches.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Good IT skills and experience using housing management systems.
• Ability to work independently and effectively prioritise workloads.
