About the Role

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and passionate Part-Time Residential Cook to join our team on an interim contract for a minimum of 3 months. You will play a vital role in preparing nutritious, balanced meals for individuals living in a residential care setting, ensuring high standards of food safety, quality, and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and present a variety of home-style meals tailored to residents' dietary needs
  • Plan menus that are balanced, nutritious, and appealing
  • Cater for individual dietary requirements (e.g. allergies, cultural, texture-modified diets)
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
  • Monitor food stock levels and assist with ordering supplies
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health & safety policies
  • Work collaboratively with care staff to support residents' preferences and wellbeing
  • Provide a warm, friendly dining experience for residents
