Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be partnering with a long standing and highly successful manufacturing business based in Rotherham as they look to recruit an experienced Temporary Accounts Payable Clerk to join their finance team on a short term basis to provide sickness cover for up to 2 months. This is a flexible role, offering either part time or full time hours dependant on what is suitable.
Having built an excellent reputation within their sector, this well established business has continued to experience strong success and growth over a number of years. Sharp Consultancy have worked closely with the company for some time and can genuinely vouch for the supportive working environment, friendly culture and collaborative nature of the team.
This opportunity will see the successful candidate joining a small but busy finance function. The team are looking for someone who can quickly settle into the role, take ownership of key accounts payable duties and provide wider support across the department where needed. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional who enjoys working within a fast paced environment and being part of a close knit team.
Key responsibilities- High volume invoice processing
- Performing BACS payments
- Bank reconciliations
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Daily banking duties
- Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc tasks as required
- Previous experience within an Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger role
- Confident processing high volumes of invoices accurately and efficiently
- Experience carrying out BACS payments and bank reconciliations
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good communication skills and ability to build relationships with suppliers and colleagues
Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction.
