Maidstone Meter Reader

£13.45 per hour + bonuses + mileage at 30.5p per mile - 6 month fixed term contract.

What you'll be doing

• Visiting residential and commercial properties to take accurate meter readings
• Carrying out basic visual inspections of metering equipment
• Recording data via a handheld device or mobile app
• Managing your own daily schedule and workload with autonomy

What we're looking for

We're looking for reliable, self motivated individuals who enjoy autonomous work and engaging with customers.

Essential Requirements

• Full UK driving licence (maximum 6 points)
• Access to your own vehicle for work use
• Business insurance (or willingness to obtain)
• Based within the ME postcode area
• Ability to pass a basic DBS check
• Able to provide a 5 year employment history

Desirable Experience

• Customer service or field based roles
• Experience using mobile apps or handheld devices
• Understanding of GDPR and data confidentiality
• Comfortable managing your own workload
