Temporary Materials Planner
£15.18 per hour
Greenford
Are you available ASAP to commence a two-month booking (may extend)?
Do you have proven experience from a fast-paced purchasing or Supply chain environment?
My client is busy and requires an experienced person ASAP. Reporting to The Head Buyer you will play a key role in ensuring the days to day operations of the supply chain. This is a fast paced role, and you will be responsible for managing purchasing activities and ensuring the timely delivery of materials.
Responsibilities- Process all requisition and PO's
- Provide purchasing data as and when required
- Act as a point of contact for day-to-day procurement issues
- Work with suppliers to ensure best price scenarios
- Resolve invoice issues and overcharge issues
- Support engineering staff with queries and changes
- Collaborate on procurement and contract projects
- Excellent Excel skills
- Experience from supply chain or procurement
- Brilliant written and spoken English
- Someone who can work under pressure and deliver results
- A proactive team player
