The successful candidate will be required to participate in the Consultant Radiologist on call rota at Regional Hospital Mullingar and to provide appropriate cross cover for absent colleagues in line with any policy that may be agreed with the Clinical Director and with the Consultant Radiologist colleagues.

The successful candidate should be available to respond readily to clinical or service needs at RHM, this will require the candidate to reside convenient to the hospital and have access to transport. The candidate may also be required to attend meetings or services in outlying areas for which they will need to have access to transport.

The successful candidate will be required to work in a collegial manner with fellow consultants and other colleagues and to show flexibility to adapt to changing situations to facilitate continuity of patient care. The candidate's clinical experience and skillset should include experience in Paediatric MRI.
