We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and motivated Consultant in Emergency Medicine to join our established team of consultants providing comprehensive care in the Emergency Department within Regional hospital Mullingar.
The post-holder will contribute fully to the functioning of the Emergency Medicine Department at Regional Hospital, Mullingar in all matters including patient care, governance, teaching, resource management and other issues. The post-holder will be responsible for the quality of the delivery of the Emergency Medicine service in the hospital. They will also be responsible for ensuring the highest quality response from the service and will function as an integral part of the multi-disciplinary Emergency Medicine team in clinical and administrative matters, including clinical audit. This post will have a working weekly commitment of 37 hours at Regional Hospital, Mullingar for the purpose of delivery of Consultant in Emergency Medicine services.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary colleagues to further develop patient-centred, efficient, and high-quality pathways of care.
